2025 Sound Bullies Audio Competition Classes and Rules
- COMPETITORS THAT CHOOSE TO CAN MOVE UP A CLASS, BUT CANNOT DISCONNECT SPEAKERS TO MOVE DOWN A CLASS. IF THE SPEAKER IS ON THE BIKE IT COUNTS, WHETHER IT'S HOOKED UP OR NOT.
-IF ANY PARTICIPANT IS CAUGHT IN VIOLATION OF THE REQUIREMENTS LISTED FOR THE ENTERED CLASS, THEY WILL BE IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFIED FROM THE COMPETITION. IT IS THE RIGHT AND DISCRETION OF THE SOUND BULLIES STAFF TO CONDUCT A REASONABLE INSPECTION OF THE PARTICIPANTS MOTORCYCLE WHICH MAY INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO SADDLE BAG INSPECTIONS. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO INSPECT ANY BIKE BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER THE COMPETITION.
-COMPETITORS WILL BE CALLED TO STAGE AT LEAST 5 MINUTES
PRIOR TO THEIR ROUND, IF YOU MISS YOUR ROUND, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
-FRIENDLY TRASH TALKING IS ENCOURAGED IN THE SPIRIT ON
§ COMPETITION. VULGAR LANGUAGE OR HOSTILE ACTIONS TOWARDS STAFF, COMPETITORS OR CROWD WILL NOT BE ALLOWED BY U ANYONE. COMPETITORS AND/ OR THEIR GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND MONEY WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. SOUND BULLIES RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DENY OR REVOKE ANY PARTICIPANTS ELIGIBILITY AT ANY TIME.
-YOU MAY HAVE SOMEONE OTHER THAN THE REGISTERED COMPETITOR PULL YOUR VEHICLE INTO AND OUT OF THE COMPETITION AREA. ONLY THE REGISTERED COMPETITOR MAY OPERATE THE SOUND DURING COMPETITION.
-ONLY COMPETITORS, JUDGES AND SOUND BULLIES STAFF WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE COMPETITION AREA DURING COMPETITIONS. NO FOOD, DRINK OR SMOKING IN THE RING BY ANYONE. NO EXCEPTIONS YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE AREA.

JOB.THE JUDGES NEED THIS ROOM TOO HONESTLY, FAIRLY AND ACCURATELY JUDGE ALL VEHICLES.**
JUDGING CRITERIA:
JUDGING WILL BE BASED OFF OF OVERALL SOUND
INCLUDING: CLARITY, BASS, VOLUME CONTROL, SOUND STAGING AND SONG CHOICE. JUDGES ARE LISTENING FOR QUALITY, WELL BALANCED SOUND SYSTEMS.
-THE VEHICLE MUST RIDEABLE. VEHICLE MUST ALSO START AND PULL OUT OF THE COMPETITION AREA OR BE DISQUALIFIED.
-PRELIMINARY ROUNDS: COMPETITORS WILL HAVE 90 SECONDS TO PLAY AS
MANY SONGS AS THEY WANT.
-FINAL ROUNDS: COMPETITORS WILL HAVE A MINIMUM OF 60 SECONDS TO PLAY AS MANY SONGS AS THEY WANT. COMPETITORS MAY ALSO BE ASKED TO PLAY THE SAME SONG TO DETERMINE WINNERS.
-DURING COMPETITION, IF A BIKE'S AUDIO IS INTERRUPTED DUE TO CLIPPING, PHONE CALL OR LOSS OF SIGNAL, IT IS AN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION.
-TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES LASTING LONGER THAN 1 MINUTE (PHONE NOT PAIRING, USB NOT READING, ETC) YOU WILL BE MOVED TO THE END OF THE CLASS. IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
-TUNING RULE: DURING COMPETITION PARTICIPANTS WILL ONLY OPERATE
THE VOLUME ON THE MAIN SOURCE I.E. RADIO/ BLUETOOTH DEVICE/ CELL Y PHONE. THE USE OF A BASS VOLUME KNOB MAY ALSO BE USED. TUNING OR ADJUSTING OF CROSSOVERS, DSP, EQUALIZERS WHETHER ONBOARD OR BLUETOOTH WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.
COAXIAL SPEAKERS WITH COMPRESSION DRIVERS MOUNTED TO THEM WILL BE COUNTED AS ONE SPEAKER.
-TWEETERS (HORNS) WILL NOT BE COUNTED. EXAMPLE OF HORNS ALLOWED: GZCT 500, TW400, ST25, ST35, DTX35, DDB3, SQL60
-COMPRESSION DRIVERS WILL BE COUNTED IF THEY ARE MOUNTED

- No 8s, No 10s. No 12s. 6x9 is the biggest speaker allowed on the bike.
-Tour packs and lowers allowed
-You can not disconnect a bigger speaker to run in the 6x9 class.
-No limit to a 6x9 sub but no 6.5 subs allowed.
HIGHWAY BULLY (FEATHERWEIGHT)

-Nothing bigger than (1) 10” SPEAKER per bag.
-No sealed bags. NO REMOVABLE/PARTIAL, ETC ENCLOSURES or SEALS.
-Porting and reinforcement allowed.
-Saddle Bags and saddle bag lids may not exceed the width of 9.5 inches at any point.
**Saddlebag length may not exceed 5”.
NO DROP RAILS ALLOWED**

-15” MAX SPEAKER SIZE LIMIT. No more than (1) 15” per bag or any other speaker combination up to 12”.
-Bags can be sealed and/or ported.
-SADDLE BAGS MAY NOT EXCEED THE WIDTH OF 10.5 INCHES at any point.
TOURPACK: ANY COMBINATION UP TO 12” ARE ALLOWED. No more than (2) 12” speakers per tourpack.
CITY SHAKER BULLY (EXTREME HEAVYWEIGHT)
-UP TO 22 SPEAKERS
-NO SPEAKER SIZE RESTRICTIONS
-Bags can be sealed and/or ported.
-SADDLE BAGS MAY NOT EXCEED THE WIDTH OF 15 INCHES at any point.
